Frequently Asked Questions about name badges

Below is a list of the most common questions we are asked in regard to name badges, badge artwork, manufacturing, special name badge orders.  If you cannot find an answer here, please contact us for further assistance.

Q: Is there a minimum quantity for badge orders?

A: There is no minimum order quantity for hard plastic styled name badges.  For metal style badges (Club Badges, School Badges and Key rings, minimum economical order quantity is 50.  Precious metal and commemorative styled badges and pins require quoting and are usually very specific based on design, style, size, quantity, types of metals used etc.

Q: WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN ENGRAVED, DIGITIZED AND SCREEN PRINTED STYLED name BADGES?

ENGRAVED NAME BADGES
	Text only badges with up to 3 Lines of Text. Colours include white text on green, white text on red, white text on navy, white text on black, green text on white, red text on white, navy text on white, black text on white, brushed silver and brushed gold.
DIGITIZED NAME BADGES
	Digitized badges include text badges and a line art representation of your logo.  Text and logo are etched into the badge surface and are the same colour or can be colour filled. Not suitable where colour logos are required. Choose a screen printed badge if you would like a coloured logo.
SCREEN PRINTED NAME BADGES
	A coloured logo (up to 10 colours) can be integrated into the badge along with chosen text. The badge is coated with clear resin.

Q: How do I forward my artwork or logo to be used on the standard name badge?

A: The best way is to email us your logo artwork. You can also post us your copied to a CD.

Q: How do I know where the logo will be placed on the badge?

A: This depends on the artwork layout that best suits the badge.  We will discuss this with you during the ordering process and your will be required to proof your name badge artwork prior to manufacture.

Q:  Can I see an artwork proof of my badge before it's made?

A: Yes, we require you to proof all artwork once we have received your files.

Q:  How can I reorder a badge style that I have purchased before, but with different text?

A:  Yes.  Please use our badge quote form.

Q:  How long does it take until I receive my order?

A:  Lead times vary depending on the badge type ordered, these are not usually long delays.

• Standard Name Badges with engraving are ususally dispatched within 36 hours of receipt of order. 
• Screen Printed and Digitized Badges are usually dispatched within 10 days of receipt of order.
• Metal Plated and Precious Metal Badges usually require 3-4 weeks from receipt of order.
